Kidz Choice Services, INC is currently seeking a master's level Certified Special Education Teacher, grades 7 to 12, with a valid Students with Disabilities teaching certification, for the Staten Island area. Candidates with ABA knowledge/experience are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:- Providing academic support in the home setting
- Implementing behavioral stategies to increase sustained attention and decrease off-task behaviors
- Monitoring your student's progress
- Working as part of a team
- Master's degree in teaching NYS grades 7 to 12/Special Education Certification
- ABA knowledge and/or experience is a plus or experience working with students with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication, organizational and classroom management skills
- PETS eligible
Staten Island:
Mon to Fri 6pm to 9pm In Person/Home based
- Competitive Salary of $70 to $80/hr. based on experience and qualifications
- Supportive work environment
- BCBA and NYS LBA supervision for candidates interested in pursuing their BCBA certification and/or NYS Behavior Analyst License.
