Work from Home (WFH) - Remote work must be performed while residing in California, New Mexico, Florida, or Massachusetts.

Reports to: Associate Dean of Education
Status: Exempt
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote position. Work must be conducted in locations approved by the company.
Responsibilities- Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams.
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
- Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Deliver subject matter using appropriate teaching and learning strategies.
- Maintain current certifications in the subjects taught.
- Lead applicable certification test preparation sessions each term.
- Provide regular student support sessions as needed.
- Update course shells, master templates, syllabi, exam banks, discussion questions, assignments, and assessments.
- Contribute to the selection and development of instructional materials aligned with course objectives.
- Maintain currency of curriculum, syllabi, and textbooks.
- Review training materials and provide recommendations on accuracy and relevancy of curriculum and performance support tools (e.g., Canvas, design plans, and related material).
- Demonstrate thorough and accurate knowledge of their field or discipline.
- Connect subject matter to related fields.
- Stay current through professional development, involvement in professional organizations, and attending meetings/conferences/workshops.
- Ensure Student Database is up-to-date with accurate grade records.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements and CIAT policies related to instructional quality and class hours.
- Promote collaboration with staff and participate in new projects and ideas.
- Adhere to CIAT business casual attire as per the Employee Handbook.
- Appropriate credential, license, or certification as required.
- Required:
CompTIA Security+. - Highly recommended:
CompTIA Pentest+ or CySA+, or CISSP, CGRC, or CEH. - Instructors must provide official transcripts showing required degrees and active certification for taught subjects.
- At least three years’ experience in the field OR two years of teaching experience.
- Advanced subject matter expertise with commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience with synchronous online teaching preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning technologies such as Canvas;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and collaboration skills with colleagues, academic departments, and administration.
- Commitment to an inclusive and supportive learning environment and high ethical standards.
- Compliance with all college policies and regulations, including academic integrity and student conduct.
This is a full-time position. Typical work days are Monday through Saturday, including evenings. Sundays may be required.
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay Range$75,000 - $80,000 USD
