Job Description
We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSSS 570 – Space Science Systems. Critical decision‑making to manage complex space science systems.
Course DescriptionCritical decision‑making to manage complex space science systems. Space science segment is characterized by steady progress rather than revolutionary change, in contrast with other components of the space ecosystem. Manage successful space science systems through skills, tools and knowledge to lead through insufficient budgets and intense competition.
Location RequirementsERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.
Qualifications- Applicable Professional Certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP) - Desired Professional Training or
Experience:
specific industry, military or university training, or experience in space operations development or management, including working in the science or business of space, to include manufacturing, operations, finance, or entrepreneurship. - Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline:
Management Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Engineering (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical), Science (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical). - Proof of qualifications must be provided, including but not limited to official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience.
