About us

SigIQ.ai builds Ever Tutor, a one-on-one math support platform that delivers high-dosage tutoring, affordable and at scale, across K-12. Ever Tutor ships in two modes:
Tutor Mode, AI-led self-paced learning for intervention, after-school, and AP prep settings, and Co-Teacher Mode, which works alongside teachers with live in-classroom practice, reteaching, and small-group support. The platform is aligned out-of-the-box to 20+ math curricula and 38+ state standards.

We are backed by GSV and Sequoia. Our flagship pilot at the Greater Dayton School in Ohio drove a 250% learning outcome improvement on NWEA MAP. We are in a white-glove pilot phase and landing new school partners faster than the founding team can run point on every one. This role is dedicated to making the teacher side of those implementations succeed.

About

the role

You are the day-to-day, teacher-facing person for a set of our partner schools. You make sure teachers know exactly how to use Ever Tutor in class, feel supported in the moment, and keep using it because it works for them and their students.

You will run point on the schools our founding team is not personally covering. Because most of your value shows up while class is in session, this is a mornings role: you are available and responsive during the school-day window when teachers actually need you.

The founding team owns the school-leader and admin relationship. Your focus is the teachers.

What you will do
  • Be the trusted, day-to-day contact for teachers at your partner schools

  • Run teacher trainings and kickoff sessions, and keep them moving in the right direction, so teachers know which lessons to run and how

  • Coach teachers on using Ever Tutor in Tutor Mode and Co-Teacher Mode for instruction, practice, and small-group support

  • Stay available during the school-day window (roughly 8am to 1pm ET) to answer teacher questions fast and keep classes running smoothly

  • Pull and read student dashboards, spot where students are struggling, and help teachers act on it

  • Solve problems on the ground during launches, and hand off admin, scheduling, and school-leader items to the founding team

  • Keep every commitment and make teachers feel genuinely looked after

Who you are

This is a hire for skills and fit, not years on a resume. Fresh graduates are welcome, and we are open to co-op and recent-grad candidates.

  • Confident running a meeting: you can stand in front of a group of teachers, think on your feet, and steer a conversation where it needs to go. This is the single most important thing for this role.

  • A former, transitioning, or currently-between-roles math teacher is a strong fit. If you have taught, you already understand the classroom, can picture what teachers are dealing with, and can speak their language.

  • Tech-comfortable: you are not intimidated by new software and AI tools, you pick them up quickly, and you use them to get real work done.

  • Polished, warm, and dependable, the kind of person a teacher is glad to hear from.

  • Based in East Coast or Central time and available in the mornings on school days.

  • Around for the school year: our implementations run for a while, and the heaviest work lands in the first few months.

Nice to have
  • Classroom math teaching experience, especially recent

  • Comfort with student data and dashboards

  • Familiarity with leading math curricula (Eureka, Illustrative Math, Zearn, Envision Math, Big Ideas, or Singapore Math)

  • Experience presenting or training adults

Compensation and logistics
  • $25 to $40 an hour, depending on experience

  • Remote within the US, East Coast or Central time, mornings on school days

  • Part-time to start (about 25 hours/week), through the current school year, with room to grow into more

  • Direct impact on students and teachers, and a front-row seat as we scale from flagship to many
