Cybersecurity & Network Administration (CNA) Professor Full-Time, Tenure Track

South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Cybersecurity & Network Administration Professor to begin in the  academic year. The position offers a 177-day contract with a total annual salary of $81,275. This includes a $6,400 high-demand stipend and focuses on creating innovative, collaborative learning experiences to maximize student success. The employment start date is September 14, 2026.

This position may serve as the Faculty Lead for the department, with compensation either as a 1/3 reduction in teaching load or a stipend, pending discussions with the dean and VPI.

Faculty members will work with other faculty, staff, and administrators to:

• Support a new evening/hybrid/weekend program for working adults seeking a credential in IT to advance their career or those who want to change fields.
• Teach online, hybrid, and/or virtual courses.
• Prepare, teach, and assess outcomes in Cybersecurity & Network Administration courses.
• Create and facilitate contextualized, integrated learning in Cybersecurity/Networking aligned with identified college pathways.
• Create authentic assessments of students  knowledge, skills, and abilities that measure course, program, and college-wide outcomes.
• Apply multiple teaching and learning strategies that promote the affective, cognitive, and kinesthetic domains of learning.
• Use data and analytics to continuously enhance strategies to improve student success.
• Mentor/advise students regarding academic pathways and the courses needed to reach each student s academic goals.
• Use a wide range of learning resources, tools, and technologies to improve access and student success in higher education.
• Serve on committees that support the college s shared governance.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
