The OpportunityAre you a local educator, PTA leader, or community advocate who is "in the know" when it comes to Kirkland’s families?
Code Ninjas Kirkland is looking for a Community Engagement Specialist to be the face of our Dojo.
We don’t just teach kids how to code; we teach them how to think. Your mission is to connect with parents of children ages 5–14 and show them how our "fun-first" curriculum—built around games like Roblox and Minecraft—can change their child’s future.
The Role (Flexible & Relationship-Driven)This isn’t a desk job. You will be out in the Kirkland community, building bridges and creating opportunities.
- School & PTA Liaison:
Develop deep relationships with Lake Washington School District elementary and middle schools to coordinate STEM nights and after-school partnerships. - Grassroots Networking:
Engage with local parenting groups, sports leagues, and community centers to build brand awareness. - Lead Generation:
Generate excitement and capture leads at local events, school fairs, and neighborhood gatherings. - Strategic Growth:
Focus on the high-density residential areas surrounding our convenient Kirkland location to ensure we are the "go-to" spot for local families.
- Connected:
You have an existing network within the Kirkland/Eastside school or youth community. - The "Educator" Mindset:
You understand how to talk to parents about developmental milestones and the importance of technical literacy. - Results-Oriented:
You are motivated by a base hourly rate plus a performance bonus for every lead you bring in that converts to a "White Belt" signup. - Flexible:
You love a schedule that isn't 9‑to‑5. You’re happy to pop into a school event on a Tuesday afternoon or a community festival on a Saturday morning.
- Impact:
You are giving kids the tools to become creators, not just consumers, of technology. - Convenience:
Our center is located in a high-growth, high-density area of Kirkland, making it an easy "yes" for the parents you meet. - Culture:
Join a team that is passionate about "Kids Have Fun, Parents See Results." We provide the training and materials; you provide the local spark. - Growth:
As a brand-new franchise, you will play a pivotal role in our launch and success, with rewards that grow as our enrollment does.
Flexible work from home options available.
