The Director of Education is responsible for ensuring high levels of student and faculty satisfaction, compliance with academic policies and procedures, recruiting, training, retaining, and developing outstanding instructors, and focusing on student retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Administration
    • Oversee and drive the development, delivery and evaluation of curriculum for campus-based programs.
    • Collaborate with Campus President, Leadership Team, and other campus leaders with oversight of placement and retention to maintain compliance with accrediting standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, retention and success.
    • Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis and feedback to drive continuous improvement and academic excellence.
  • Faculty & Staff Support
    • Provide onboarding, training and professional development opportunities for faculty on best practices for instruction.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities which include, but not limited to; planning, assigning and directing work of subordinates; appraising their performances; delivering corrective action and performance improvement plans and addressing complaints timely.
    • Observe faculty for quality assurance and provide coaching for on-going developmental activities.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to hire new faculty.
  • Student Support & Engagement
    • Work with student services and faculty to provide academic advising, technical support, and online learning resources.
    • Develop strategies to enhance student engagement, participation and overall learning experience.
    • Monitor student feedback and implement improvements to education programs.
  • Compliance and Accreditation
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state and accreditation policies.
    • Actively coordinate office activities with the Campus President, specifically concerns in licensing or accreditation.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
    • As part of the Director of Education role, employees may be asked to perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the department or organization. Flexibility and a willingness to take on diverse tasks is essential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field is preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with all departments within MTI and DTC.
Working Conditions
  • On Campus, typical office environment.
  • Minimal Travel – Occasional travel may be required for conferences, trainings or institutional meetings.
  • Independent & Collaborative Work – must be comfortable managing projects autonomously while also collaborating across teams.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting Salary Range: $69,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
