The mission of Insight Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School is to provide an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students by incorporating school and community/family partnerships coupled with a rigorous curriculum along with a data-driven and student-centered instructional model. Join us! This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work independently for approximately 40 hours per week. A professional, distraction-free home office during the workday is required.
Core hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, while allowing for some flexibility as determined by school needs. Residency requirement:
Resident of Pennsylvania; residents of other states will be considered on a case by case basis. Salary range is $120,000- $130,000 annual base salary.
The Director of Curriculum and Instruction provides strategic leadership and oversight for curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, and school improvement initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of instructional systems, academic programming, curriculum resources, assessment practices, and educator support structures that strengthen student achievement and organizational effectiveness within a virtual learning environment. The Director collaborates closely with the Chief Academic Officer, Academic Leadership Team, school leaders, and instructional staff to ensure alignment of academic priorities, instructional practices, professional development, student engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
The role also leads organizational data analysis, goal setting, and Comprehensive School Improvement (CSI) planning to support measurable academic growth and long term strategic outcomes.

Provide strategic leadership for curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, and school improvement initiatives to improve student achievement, academic growth, graduation outcomes, and subgroup performance across the organization.
Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous refinement of a cohesive K12 instructional framework that establishes clear expectations for teaching, learning, student engagement, and instructional delivery within a virtual learning environment.
Drive measurable improvements in instructional practice and educator effectiveness through the implementation of professional learning systems, coaching structures, instructional feedback cycles, and data informed continuous improvement processes.
Establish and maintain vertically and horizontally aligned curriculum, instruction, and assessment systems that ensure consistency, rigor, and coherence across all grade levels, content areas, and instructional programs.
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive organizational assessment calendar, including formative, benchmark, interim, diagnostic, and summative assessments, to ensure timely measurement of student progress and instructional effectiveness.
Ensure assessment results are consistently analyzed and utilized through cyclical data review processes to drive instructional decision making, intervention planning, curricular revisions, subgroup support strategies, and continuous academic improvement.
