Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students who need personalized attention in a special education setting near Willis, TX. This on-site role focuses on delivering Homebound services to a third-grade Life Skills student, making a genuine impact during both the extended school year as well as the full academic calendar if desired. In this position, you’ll begin providing six hours per week (four hours of direct instruction and two hours of compensatory support) starting mid-August, with the chance to continue through the school year.

Ideal candidates bring dedication, compassion, and a strong understanding of diverse learning needs. Experience with life skills curricula and adapting instruction for homebound students is valuable.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential for Texas
• Experience teaching special education, preferably with Life Skills or Homebound programs
• Strong communication skills and commitment to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to manage materials and instruction independently in a homebound setting
• Familiarity with compensatory service requirements and reporting
• Enthusiasm for collaborative approaches with families and school staff
