Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment and admissions strategies to meet enrollment goals for online undergraduate programs.
  • Lead the admissions team in processing applications, evaluating transcripts, and making admissions decisions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and online program coordinators to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and program offerings.
  • Manage the communication flow with prospective online students, providing accurate information about programs, admissions requirements, and support services.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and outreach campaigns to promote online undergraduate programs to target audiences.
  • Analyze admissions data and trends to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate virtual information sessions, webinars, and other events to engage prospective students and facilitate their transition to online learning.
  • Stay informed about best practices and trends in online education and enrollment management, participating in professional development activities as appropriate.
  • Serve as a liaison between admissions, academic departments, and other campus offices to address student inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with enrollment management colleagues on initiatives related to retention, student success, diversity, and inclusion in online education.
Requirements
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of graduate education and the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with prospective students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in admissions management systems and other relevant technology tools.
  • Supervisory experience, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in higher education.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Office hours and work times are based on student needs.
