Academic Tutor – Home-Based Instruction
The Academic Tutor will provide direct academic instruction to a Grade 2 student in the student's home. Instruction will be individualized based on the student's educational program and will focus on maintaining access to grade-level curriculum, addressing identified areas of need, and supporting continued academic progress.
The tutor will collaborate with appropriate Winchendon Public Schools staff to ensure continuity between the student's home-based instruction and district programming and will maintain required documentation regarding services provided and student progress.
Schedule:
3 hours per day, 4 days per week (12 hours per week).
Specific days and instructional hours will be mutually determined by the tutor and the student's family in order to establish a consistent weekly schedule.
