Core academics are completed independently by students in two focused daily hours using AI-powered platforms. The remainder of their day is devoted to skill-building through facilitated workshops, coaching, and independent exploration.

This position does not involve delivering scripted content or monitoring a conventional virtual classroom. Instead, you will facilitate dynamic online sessions designed to inspire students to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and grow holistically. Your work will include mentoring in areas such as storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and complex problem-solving—all while fostering independence, self-assurance, and executive function.

• Facilitating interactive virtual workshops centered on life competencies including communication, creative thinking, problem-solving, and self-management
• Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to cultivate student confidence, accountability, and executive functioning
• Leveraging platform data and behavioral indicators to tailor support and monitor student development longitudinally
• Working collaboratively with peer educators to design and refine project-based, experiential learning opportunities
• Establishing a supportive, energizing environment in which students feel acknowledged, stretched, and inspired to develop

• Instructing core academic content; adaptive AI tutors manage that component
• Presenting scripted lectures or operating within a traditional classroom framework
• Evaluating worksheets, assigning homework, or developing standardized lesson plans

Facilitate student development and life preparedness by delivering impactful, real-world learning experiences within a hybrid, fully virtual charter school environment.

• Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona
• Strong virtual presence and comfort leading students via video

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
