Position Summary:
To coordinate and implement the Home-Based Program which generally includes recruitment, training, scheduling and supervision of Home-Based staff, as well as processing and evaluating new referrals received from districts.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in special education or in a related field
- BCBA certification
- At least two years relevant experience
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Executive Director may find appropriate and in conformity with state and federal requirements.
- Coordinate and implement procedures for screening incoming students.
- Complete in-take process and provide written evaluations and recommendations.
- Consult with districts regarding the needs and services of students and families.
- Provide consultation and support to ACCEPT programs.
- Serve as the liaison between ACCEPT and districts regarding home-based services.
- Attend Team Meetings to report on Home-Based services.
- Develop strategies to implement goals and address behavioral issues in the home and school settings.
- Serve as a liaison between school and home environments to ensure consistency and appropriate carry-over of programs.
- Document and review student progress and write and review progress reports.
- Supervise home-based staff.
- Screen incoming referrals.
- Develop goals and objectives regarding educational/behavioral needs.
- Recruit, hire, and train Home-Based staff.
- Review and approve Home-Based staff timesheets.
- Consult with Director of Special Education regarding home/school-based issues.
- Schedule and assign staff in home/school placement(s).
- Conduct professional development workshops.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: $57,000 to $116,000 Per Year

ACCEPT provides a wide range of programs and services including special education for students with moderate to severe needs, specialized transportation, home-based services, behavioral and educational consultation, and professional development. ACCEPT offers a continuum of programs and services Prek-12 and to age 22 for both students in life skills and Therapeutic programs.
Our programs address autism spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral needs, global impairments, cognitive/intellectual disabilities, language disorders, ADHD/ADD, and nonverbal learning disability.
