We are searching for an experienced Bilingual EA Clerical
- Schenk - 0.8 FTE - 26-27 SY at our Schenk Elementary facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation of instructional materials under a teacher's direction; provide clerical support (e.g., typing, data entry, record keeping) to departments and main office.

- Responsible for the Safe Arrival messages and updating Infinite Campus to reflect absences.
- Greet and respond to visitors, monitoring security cameras.
- Monitor student behavior and/or supervise including test taking observation, lunch supervision, hallway/playground, off-campus or gym activity.
- Maintain records and/or collect data.
- Maintain, set up, clean, sort supplies, equipment or the student physical environment.
- Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required to Perform

- Ability to follow written and/or oral directions and communicate clearly.
- Ability to empathize with children and remain composed and patient with difficult behavior.

- Ability to maintain student confidentiality
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of and ability to use various software applications. (i.e. Word, Munis, Infinite Campus)
- Positive social skills and ability to effectively communicate with both students and adults (staff and families)
- Organizational skills and task oriented
Minimum Qualifications:
- English and Spanish fluency required
- Experience in an office environment
- Minimum of at least two years experience in an office setting, preferably a school setting
- Experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, and Google Docs
- Experience managing social media posts and website updates
- Experience supervising students in an educational atmosphere
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience with school age children
- Experience with Oasys software
- Experience with Infinite Campus and ad-hoc reporting
- Respectful phone etiquette
- Skills tests for keyboarding skills will be used to consider candidates
- Candidates have an Associate's Degree or 48 academic credits beyond high school or pass assessment taken onsite in lieu of college credits
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates have an Associate's Degree or 48 academic credits beyond high school
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- CPR Certification
- First aid training

Working Conditions:
- Work may require travel to different locations within the district and to off-site meetings.

- School-based positions are required to be in-person unless otherwise directed by the building principal.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work under generally safe and comfortable conditions where exposure to environmental factors is minimal and poses little to no risk of injury. This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and may involve walking, sitting, stooping or reaching. Manual dexterity is necessary for completing general tasks while operating office equipment. This position may require being stationary for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments throughout the year, including in inclement weather, spaces without air conditioning, and areas where temperatures may be uncomfortable or fluctuate rapidly.
