Help students succeed. Earn supplemental income. Work from home. We are looking for Reading and/or Math tutors who are available 5:00-8:00 PM EST.

Littera partners with K-12 schools and districts nationwide to deliver high-impact, customized tutoring in Reading, Math, and English Language Acquisition. Our model is built around one belief: every student who needs individualized support should have access to it regardless of subject, schedule, or learning need. Districts set real achievement goals, hold themselves accountable for results, and trust their tutors to make it happen.

As a Littera tutor, you're not filling a seat. The curriculum, platform, and scheduling infrastructure are already in place: no lesson planning, no commuting, no weekends. Your job is to show up consistently, connect with students, and help move the needle on the outcomes that matter most.

Consistent availability is required. Hours vary week to week based on student enrollment and client needs. This role works best for candidates who can commit to a reliable weekly schedule and are comfortable with fluctuating hours. Schedules are subject to change.

At Littera, every student deserves personalized academic support. As a tutor, you will:

• Earn up to $22.50/hr — $18 base pay × 1.25 paid administrative time per tutored hour, bi-weekly W-2 paycheck
• Work fully remote from the comfort of your home, Monday–Friday
• Skip the lesson prep — curriculum is built for you
• Keep it small — tutor groups of 1–3 students, building real relationships that matter
• Get covered — Littera pays for your background check and fingerprinting
• Start earning from day one — all training is paid

Tutoring hours take place between 7:00 AM-8:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday. We do not conduct tutoring sessions on weekends.

• Are U.S.
  
  -based and can hold a consistent, committed weekly schedule
• Have experience or strong knowledge in Reading, Math, Algebra, or ESL/ELL
• Know how to work with diverse learners — adapting your approach, offering encouragement, and tutoring with care.
• Can build genuine connections with students and create a motivating learning environment
• Are comfortable using virtual tools: video, audio, screenshare, whiteboard, and chat
• Want a supplemental income opportunity, up to 25 hours per week.

• Quiet space with an educational or blank background

• Pass a background check (required).
• Communicate effectively with students using Littera's virtual tutoring platform.
• Read and interpret on-screen lesson materials in real time.
• Deliver instructional support during live, scheduled sessions.
