Adjunct Adult Education Instructor – Hybrid, Morning; Online​/In-person

• Identify student goals based on individual pre-assessments
• Provide instruction face-to-face and virtually
• Teach Adult Education classes covering reading, math, science, social studies, and language skills based on individualized learning needs
• Deliver effective Adult Education instruction based on Standards-Based Instruction
• Plan, develop, and implement lessons requiring higher-order thinking skills
• Develop individualized student education plans for each participant and post-test students afterward
• Submit student attendance weekly
• Monitor student data weekly
• Work a flexible schedule to accommodate students
• Perform other duties as assigned

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited post-secondary institution is required
• Must be able to instruct between the hours of 8am – 1pm Mon
  -Thurs, Online and In-Person
• Must be able to work on campus at least twice per week
• Must be able to attend staff meetings, local staff developments, and required training
• Strong understanding of K-12 reading, writing, and math skills, including Algebra and Geometry
• Proficient at lesson planning and differentiated instruction
• Strong understanding of Standards-Based Classroom
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Counseling capabilities
• Excellent customer service and human relations skills
• Preferred: at least three to five years of paid work experience teaching K-12 or Adult Education classes
• Preferred: teaching experience at the middle or high school level
• Preferred: classroom management experience

Demonstrates expertise in delivering Standards-Based Instruction and developing individualized education plans for Adult Education students. Proficient in lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and monitoring student progress to enhance learning outcomes.
