Example of DutiesHusson University is seeking dynamic individuals to develop and teach online courses for a new bachelor’s degree in Conservation Law Enforcement. Online course developers and instructors are content experts who focus on providing an elite educational experience for learners to improve their skill level and knowledge. Course developers work closely with instructional designers and leadership to define expectations throughout the course build process.
Candidates with demonstrated expertise and professional experience in the following course topics are encouraged to apply:
- Wildland Fire
- Wildlife Trafficking
- Conservation Law Enforcement
- Report Writing and Testifying
- Physical Fitness and Mental Health for Law Enforcement
- Introduction to Justice
- Criminal Procedure
- Crisis Intervention
- Criminalistics
- An earned terminal degree in the discipline or a related field (master’s degree required, doctoral degree preferred)
- Previous professional experience working in the field of conservation law enforcement or criminal justice
- Prior experience in online course design and instruction in higher education (preferred)
- Effective communication skills to convey subject matter clearly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to providing innovative and engaging online education
- Master’s Prepared:
Up to $933.33 per credit hour* - Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared:
Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour*

Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour* - Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared:
Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour*
* Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
Lab Sections (Undergraduate):
- Master’s Prepared: $1,150.00 per credit hour
- Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,250.00 per credit hour
Proposal or development fees range from $1,500.00 to $5,000.00, depending upon the complexity of the assignment.
