At Mathnasium we pride ourselves on creating a great environment for kids to love math!

We are looking for an awesome Hybrid Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning experience for students in elementary school. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique role focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills. All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency (don't worry, it's not that hard) and pass a background check.

Following hiring, the new team member is given the opportunity to complete training in the Mathnasium Method™. This is a part-time role with set hours in a virtual platform and optional in center hours.

Teaching virtually from 3:45-5:15pm (CT) Mondays and Thursdays. Additional hours available in center at our Wauwatosa, Brookfield or Waukesha locations M-Th 3-7pm (CT) and Sat 10am-2pm (CT). Must live in the Milwaukee area and be able to train at one of our three locations (Wauwatosa, Brookfield or Waukesha). Top notch high school students, college students, teachers, and retirees are encouraged to apply!

• Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students
• Teach virtually using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work
• Support kids to grow in skills and confidence, in every tutoring session
