Salary/Position Classification
- 14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 15 hours per week

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide support and table coverage for various campus/community events
- Present at two Campus Organization meetings during the academic year
- Assist students in alternate locations such as the Library Knowledge Commons or college locations
- Ensure a welcoming and supportive experience for students utilizing the Career Closet, respecting diverse backgrounds and preferences and track and document chosen items
- Provide reception coverage when necessary
- Complete additional tasks as requested by the Experiential Learning staff
- This position supports the mission and vision of Career Services and the Experiential Learning Center as well as the vision of the University of North Dakota.
- Work one-on-one or in groups with current UND students and alumni to assist with career-related development such as detailed reviews of resumes, curriculum vita, cover letters, and/or personal statements, and practice
- Must be in good standing according to the University
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Demonstrated acceptance and respect for diversity
- Willing to learn from feedback and to portray oneself professionally at all times (attire and 1:1 with students)
- Motivated with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to set and meet task deadlines
- Willingness to ask questions, continue learning and have an overall positive attitude
- Ability to adapt as necessary and embrace change
- Technology skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
