The University of Maine at Augusta invites applications for Part-Time Faculty at our Aircraft Maintenance Technician School (AMTS). The successful candidate will have experience with the subject matter in a wide range of aviation topics, including fixed-wing and rotorcraft.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and working with students one-on-one. The position will ideally be based at UMA's Brunswick Aviation Campus, Hangar 6, but we will also consider remote work candidates.

Qualifications Required
  • Aircraft Maintenance Experience
  • Teaching Experience
Preferred
  • FAA Aircraft Inspection Authorization Certificate
  • Higher Education experience with curriculum writing and teaching
Salary

The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience:

Service Units

0-5 6-12 3-19 20+

* 0-10 semesters of previous college teaching

** 11-19 semesters of previous college teaching

*** 20 + semesters of previous college teaching
