Education / Teaching
You’ve already taken something from concept to scale. Now you’re searching for a new high-stakes challenge—one that combines urgency with clear purpose. If you’re convinced that the U.S. education system is failing gifted children and you’re prepared to address it directly, this is for you.
gt.school is reimagining education for high-potential learners. Our 2 Hour Learning approach condenses the academic curriculum into concentrated, mastery-oriented sessions—creating space for students to engage with meaningful challenges. We’re now building a physical model campus that integrates what’s been absent: leadership development, competitive peer environments, performance culture, and genuine community.
Your role will be to lead the design, testing, and public launch of this campus model—positioning it as the foundation for a national expansion. You’ll simultaneously develop our virtual GT Anywhere offering alongside the existing team. This involves piloting real-world programming, cultivating parent interest, establishing lasting culture, and creating replicable systems for growth.
We’re looking for someone with founder-caliber drive and authority. Someone who knows that strong ideas are worthless without disciplined execution. Someone capable of transforming a clear vision into a school that generates word-of-mouth demand from parents—and genuine excitement from students.
What You Will Be Doing- Designing and piloting scalable programs beyond traditional academics—centered on leadership development, autonomy, and competitive dynamics
- Creating and validating a physical model campus, including operational frameworks, staffing structures, and facility design
- Crafting parent-facing narratives, market entry strategies, and expansion frameworks to accelerate growth
- Establishing, documenting, and replicating quality benchmarks and cultural practices across future locations
- Serving as the external representative of the model—building visibility via media, live events, and strategic alliances
- Operating a conventional school with traditional classrooms, full-time teachers, and all-day schedules
- Appealing to families seeking watered-down gifted programs centered on AP courses and minimal rigor
- Implementing gradual reforms inside legacy institutions—we’re not improving schools, we’re building alternatives
- Optimizing for vanity metrics—our focus is on substantive outcomes and rigorous learning, not surface-level activity
- Working entirely remote—you’ll have flexibility, but expect to spend approximately 1 week per month in Austin to stay grounded in operations
Key Responsibilities
Design, validate, and scale a high-performance gifted school model—beginning with a single prototype campus and growing into a national network.
Basic Requirements- Built and scaled a high-impact venture from scratch (bonus if it involved physical operations or education). We are talking about at least 1M USD yearly revenue owned by you
- Deep, personal understanding of gifted students—whether through family, professional experience, or lived reality
- AI First mentality — Inclination to prioritize AI as the default solution for problem-solving, decision-making and work output generation at scale.
- Proven ability to articulate a compelling vision and convert skeptics into believers
- Based in the U.S., with ability to travel regularly to Austin (minimum 1 week/month)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
