Instructor, Community Learning Center

Compensation

$25 per hour. CLC instructors need to submit specific class proposals for each session. Email the Director of Continuing Education, Jacinta Esquibel, at esquibelj for more information in order to be considered for this position.

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic instructors who have classroom experience and want to share their expertise in a wide variety of personal enrichment topics of interest to our community. CLC non‑credit classes vary widely in the number of hours that they meet and are a great place to explore hobbies and skills. The Community Learning Center non‑credit instructors report to the Director of the Community Learning Center and are responsible for course development, teaching and classroom management.

Candidates should have expertise in the area they wish to teach and teaching experience. All candidates are subject to a Criminal Background Investigation prior to any offer of employment.

Remote or hybrid work may be approved for adjunct employees within New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Texas (states subject to change at any time). All requests for remote work must be approved in advance by the Dean and Human Resources. Remote work options for locations outside of the United States are not permitted.
