Pay Range $1,400 -$1,700 per credit hour

Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months’ salary unless otherwise specified.

Falk College seeks a part-time instructor to teach SPM 365 M002, Sport Economics ( 3 credits) in the Spring 2027 (1/4/2027- 4/26/2027) semester. Class meets in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 3:20 PM.

Course Descrition:
Analyzing and explaining sport issues through the lens of economic analysis. theoretical models and applied applications will be discussed that relates to aspects of professional, collegiate, and amateur sports nationally and internationally.

Competencies:

Critical and Creative Thinking

• Master’s degree in Sport Management or related business field
• Three plus (3+) years industry experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Business or Organizational Behavior related field with 5+ years of extensive and diverse experience.

• Preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
• Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
