Responsibilities*

  • Assist in teaching courses
  • Preparing instructional materials
  • Give laboratory or clinical demonstrations
  • Prepare, administer, and grade subjective and objective examinations and assignments
  • Lecture and lead laboratory and recitation sections.
  • May interact with students regarding course content or grades
Required Qualifications *
  • Undergraduate student in good academic standing with knowledge of the subject matter OR Non-UM Student with a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • This position is not open to current University of Michigan graduate students
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative or program support role, especially in higher education.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours to support events.
  • Must have a basic understanding of web accessibility guidelines.
  • Grading experience
  • Some knowledge of social media/online communities.
Course Description

This course introduces students to social science concepts and theories related to social media and online communities, such as identity and self-presentation, and some principles of designing online communities.
