Pay Range | $63,000-$70,000

Job Description | The Assistant Director Academic Program will be reporting to the Director of Academic Programs and working closely with College of Law departments, stakeholders, and areas across campus, the Assistant Director of Academic Programs is responsible for implementation and coordination of the College of Law domestic and international study‑abroad short course programs as well as overall work within the Office of Academic Programs.
Requires coordinating with Director of Academic Programs and Faculty Directors of international programs to select, plan, and execute domestic and international short courses, including preparation and compliance with budgets. Further, supporting other facets of Academic Programs, such as course and examinations schedules and schedules for course builds, and launch of new Master of Legal Studies online graduate program. This position requires occasional travel, approximately 10% of the time.
Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of administrative support in educational setting required 5+ years of student‑facing experience and/or event planning experience required. Valid driver’s license required
Skills and Knowledge | Proven ability to lead, manage, and collaborate with a team. Proven experience managing budgets, expenditures, and executing vendor contracts. Exceptional organizational, communication and computer skills (written, oral and visual). Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, create timelines, make sound judgments independently, and balance multiple deadlines. Must possess the ability to meet program deadlines, work under time constraint pressures, and to multi‑task under pressure with great attention to detail.
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across levels at the institution. Proficiency in Blackboard, Word Press, Qualtrics, Zoom, Excel, Adobe, Exam Soft, Proctor Track, and other online platforms used in higher education.
- Facilitate and support more than twelve 4‑to‑5‑day long in‑person domestic residencies for 600+ students per year, on‑campus and off‑campus, including catering, receptions, securing outside vendors, working directly with venues, planning and coordinating activities, building access, student bios for professors, etc. Secure hotel blocks as needed,…
