The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is searching for a Senior SAT or ACT Tutor for online assignments with one of our chapters. Position: SAT & ACT Full Test Tutor.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience as a professional SAT or ACT full test tutor. Job Classification:
Contract.

• Provide online SAT and ACT tutoring for students in grades 9–12, focusing on full test sections and key concepts.
• Receive training in all aspects of the tests and in effective teaching methods to convey concepts and skills to students.
• Tutoring hours are flexible, with most sessions in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends; part of the role is to adapt to student needs across time zones.
• Achieve a tutoring load of 4 to 12 hours per week.

• Native English speaker residing in the United States.
• Strong ACT and/or SAT scores and a track record of tutoring all sections of either the SAT or ACT (or both).
• Bachelor of Arts/Science from a highly reputable university.
• Minimum of 500 combined tutoring session hours tutoring one or all of the following: SAT, and ACT.
• Experience with adolescents and the ability to relate easily to teenagers; strong teaching instincts and the ability to explain concepts in multiple ways.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate/understanding attitude.
• A genuine passion for teaching.
