We have students waiting. This is an immediate opening — we are actively matching qualified tutors with students. We are looking for someone with a strong APPrecalculus teaching or tutoring experience and are a current or former

College Board AP Reader.

This is a high-impact role for an educator who can make abstract mathematical concepts approachable and help students build confidence heading into exam day.

Compensation:
Paid per hour.

• 1:1 Tutoring — Personalized sessions tailored to the individual student's pace, learning gaps, and exam timeline

• Guide students through both AP exam components — multiple choice questions (MCQ) and free response questions (FRQ)
• Develop and administer practice MCQ sets to build student accuracy, pacing, and test-taking strategy
• Review and provide detailed feedback on student FRQ responses using College Board scoring rubrics
• Help students connect graphical, numerical, analytical, and verbal representations of functions
• Customize sessions based on each student's learning gaps, target score, and time remaining before the exam
• Track student progress and communicate updates to parents or platform coordinators as needed
• Stay current on College Board AP Precalculus course framework and any exam updates

We are looking for a tutor with deep knowledge of the AP Precalculus course framework and real experience helping students navigate functions,modeling, and the demands of the AP exam. Teaching and tutoring experience are both welcome — what matters is your results and your command of the material.

• 3+ years of teaching or tutoring experience in AP Precalculus or comparable college-level precalculus — required
• Deep familiarity with all AP Precalculus exam components: MCQ andFRQ formats, question types, and scoring
• Strong command of all four AP Precalculus units, with particular depth in Units 1–3
• Ability to teach function reasoning, modeling, and multiple representations clearly and effectively
• Experience with both 1:1 and group instruction
• Comfortable working with high school students in a virtual,friendly environment
• Must be located in the United States
• Reliable internet connection and comfort with online tutoring platforms and digital graphing tools
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education,or a related field preferred

Experience as an official College Board AP Exam Reader (grader) is required. This demonstrates elite-level familiarity with FRQscoring standards and expectations and is essential for this role.

Must be available consistently on a weekly basis. We are looking for tutors who can commit to recurring sessions and build an ongoing relationship with their students — not one-off availability.
