Equitable is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Advisor Training & Development to join our Wealth Management team. In this role you will establish and lead the enterprise strategy for advisor and field leader training, development, education, and coaching across the advisor journey.

This leader will integrate advisor development, curriculum strategy, training operations, coaching programs, learning platforms, and analytics into a cohesive development ecosystem that drives advisor growth and business outcomes. The role will partner closely with field leadership, the Honor Guard, NAF, EAG, and other key stakeholders to ensure development offerings remain relevant, scalable, and impactful.

This position offers a flexible work schedule: it may be fully remote/hybrid
. If youarelocatednear one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Syracuse, NY), a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and connection. You will have up to 25% travel for program, field or business needs plus periodic office visits to keep fully engaged with your team.

Establish and lead the enterprise strategy, roadmap, and governance framework for advisor and field leader training, development, education, and coaching across the advisor journey.

Oversee the full advisor development portfolio, ensuring programs, resources, and investments align to business priorities, field needs, and long-term capability objectives. Programs currently span advisor development, leadership development, practice management, coaching, and professional development experiences.

Evaluate, enhance, scale, redesign, or retire development offerings based on business outcomes, participant feedback, field input, and performance insights.

Serve as the senior advisor to business and field leadership on advisor capability, development strategy, organizational readiness, and the future direction of advisor learning and coaching.

Lead the strategy and evolution of key development programs, including advisor bootcamps, DSF development, ESF development, and leadership development.

Partner with the Honor Guard, NAF, EAG, and field leaders to refine curriculum and learning experiences.

Partner with EAG on the strategy and evolution of producer group coaching.

Establish a scalable train-the-trainer model that equips leaders and coaches to consistently deliver development experiences.

Ensure programs drive meaningful capability development, adoption, and business impact.

Provide strategic oversight of learning operations, platforms, curriculum deployment, and training infrastructure.

Leverage analytics to measure effectiveness, identify capability gaps, and guide future investment decisions.

Establish performance metrics and reporting that demonstrate the impact of training and development programs.

Ensure operational excellence and scalability across advisor development initiatives.

Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for advisor development, training operations, and program execution.

Build strong partnerships with senior leaders, field leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
