The instructor is responsible for adding outcomes, academic materials, discussion and assignment that support the course description. Additionally, VTSU Online instructors are obligated to adhere to the VTSU Online Standards that address instructor presence, student engagement, instructor expectations, and assessment of student work.

Principles of Marketing Credits: 3 Course description:
This course introduces the role of marketing as it relates to manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and service businesses. Topics include product development, pricing decisions, promotional consideration, and distribution options of both goods and services. Students will also examine the emerging role of electronic marketing, and its impact on today’s businesses.

The full course must be ready and published at least one week prior to the start of the semester.

• For consideration, candidates must possess at least a master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience teaching fully online, asynchronous courses is required, along with demonstrated familiarity with adult learning theory.
• Experience with Canvas is preferred.

Compensation is dependent upon online teaching experience (within and outside of the Vermont State Colleges System) and bargaining unit status; the starting range is between $ per credit.

Budgeted Wage for this Position: $1000/credit.
