About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Online English Language Tutor to join their expanding virtual education platform. This fully remote position involves providing personalized English language instruction to a diverse international student base. You will be responsible for assessing student proficiency, developing tailored learning plans, and delivering engaging online lessons that improve communication skills, grammar, and vocabulary. Key Responsibilities- Deliver dynamic and interactive English language lessons to students of various ages and proficiency levels via an online platform.
- Assess students' language skills, identify areas for improvement, and develop customized learning plans to meet their specific goals.
- Provide constructive feedback on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and fluency, helping students build confidence.
- Prepare engaging lesson materials, including exercises, activities, and conversation prompts, utilizing digital resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance, communicating updates to students and the platform administrators as required.
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or Foreign Language (EFL), preferably online.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Proficiency with online teaching tools, video conferencing software, and digital learning platforms.
