Pay Range $72,000 - $83,000

The Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment leads the enrollment management strategy for the School of Education ( SOE ), overseeing recruitment and the admissions process for the School’s graduate programs (master’s, CAS , and doctoral) in education as well as its undergraduate programs, including the Bachelor of Science in Social Work ( BSSW ) program. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Success, the Associate Director supervises the Program Manager, who supports the Associate Director across many of the responsibilities outlined below.

The Associate Director directs the development and execution of the recruitment strategy and communication plan across the graduate and undergraduate portfolio and manages the School’s overall enrollment plan in collaboration with the Assistant Dean for Student Success. The Associate Director serves as the primary liaison between SOE programs, the Graduate School, Undergraduate Admissions, and University admissions partners, and represents SOE at university and external councils, conferences, and recruiting events, both on and off campus.

The Associate Director also collaborates and coordinates with the Master of Social Work ( MSW ) program to ensure consistency between practices and processes wherever possible. This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU , Local 200

• Five or more years of experience in higher education, with a focus on admissions and recruitment or equivalent experience required, including demonstrated experience leading enrollment strategy. Experience with both graduate and undergraduate admissions preferred.
• Knowledge of current University systems ( SLATE , People Soft, Microsoft Office).
• Ability to travel.
• Familiarity with academic institutions (higher education and K-12) helpful.
