** Sustain Penn State is looking to hire a Penn State student intern who will work for at least the remainder of the  academic year. This student will assist with the coordination of the Undergraduate Mentor Leadership Training Program (UMLTP), which supports Penn State undergraduate students through leadership development, culturally responsive mentorship training, and community building. The intern will assist with mentor recruitment and engagement, workshop and Reflection Circle planning, program communication, and other duties as needed.

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn about sustainability and mentorship/leadership development.  The successful candidate will:
* Be a team player, with strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills;
* Be a quick learner, able to manage and organize multiple sources of information;
* Have a record of interest in or knowledge about sustainability, environmental science, youth education, and/or community engagement;
* Help recruit undergraduate mentors and conduct outreach with interested organizations on the University Park campus;
* Assist with tracking mentor participation, attendance, feedback, and progress throughout the program;
* Be able to work independently while also contributing ideas and engaging with the Environ Mentors team; and
* All other duties as assigned.  This paid internship will be for up to 20 hours a per week during the fall and spring semesters. Some weekend availability may be needed for the annual Environ Mentors Symposium on April 24, 2027 and the UMTLP Retreat on May 1, 2027.
