Mathematics SME​/Teacher - Lesson Video Creator; Grades 3-8

We are looking for a Mathematics SME / Teacher Lesson Video Creator to join our academic content team and create high-quality mathematics lesson videos for school students.

This is a full-time, completely remote position for someone who combines strong mathematical knowledge with excellent communication, strong teaching ability, and a genuine passion for helping students learn.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mathematics, excellent spoken English, clear pronunciation, a neutral and easily understandable accent, strong teaching skills, and a genuine knack for teaching.

You will be responsible for creating structured mathematics lesson videos using Open Board or similar digital whiteboard software, explaining concepts step-by-step and making them easy for students to understand.

The role requires someone who can work independently, follow academic and content guidelines, meet production targets, and consistently deliver high-quality educational content.

• Create clear, engaging, and curriculum-aligned mathematics lesson videos.
• Explain mathematical concepts step-by-step using Open Board or similar digital whiteboard software.
• Write mathematical expressions, solve problems, draw diagrams, and demonstrate concepts clearly on the digital whiteboard.
• Present lessons in a simple, logical, engaging, and student-friendly manner.
• Use effective teaching techniques to maintain student attention and support understanding.
• Record clear and professional voice-over and/or lesson videos.
• Break down complex mathematical concepts into simple and understandable steps.
• Create relevant examples and worked solutions to reinforce learning.
• Ensure all mathematical explanations, calculations, terminology, and notation are accurate.
• Follow Ezyxam's prescribed lesson structure, curriculum requirements, and content guidelines.
• Review recorded lessons for mathematical accuracy, clarity, pronunciation, pacing, teaching effectiveness, and presentation quality.
• Make revisions and re-record sections based on academic or quality feedback.
• Work closely with the academic and content teams.
• Meet agreed daily and weekly content-production targets.
• Use AI and other digital tools where appropriate to support lesson preparation and content creation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Clear pronunciation and a neutral, easily understandable English accent.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teaching skills and a genuine passion for teaching, with the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively to school students.
• Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for school students.
• Ability to explain concepts patiently, logically, and systematically.
• Ability to identify common student mistakes and address misconceptions effectively.
• Ability to create engaging, student-friendly lessons from the learner's perspective.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Good computer and digital-technology skills.
• Ability to use or quickly learn Open Board or similar digital whiteboard software.

Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, particularly Australian school mathematics, will receive additional consideration during the selection process.

You should be confident with school-level mathematics and able to solve problems accurately while explaining the reasoning behind each solution.
