Qualifications:

• Current MS Orientation & Mobility Certification is required
• Proven experience working as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist, ideally with school-aged children
• Deep understanding of specialized techniques to enhance student mobility, orientation, and independence
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families in a virtual environment
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable delivering services independently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized orientation and mobility instruction virtually to three students
• Develop, implement, and update lesson plans tailored to each student's unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate mobility solutions within school programming
• Track student progress and document outcomes following district and best practice guidelines
