Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate the work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project lifecycle (development to close-out) for environmental services in Washington State, including:
- Environmental and land use alternatives analyses and siting studies
- NEPA/SEPA documentation
- Federal, state, and local environmental and land use permit applications and permit acquisition
- Manage all aspects of large multidisciplinary projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity and a large project staff.
- Produce and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
- Establish and maintain client relations; participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate with the team to stay within budget and schedule.
- Work with Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
- Collaborate with Water Business Group leadership, WA ES&P BCL, and cross-sector teams to elevate practice and project delivery.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Project Managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- In-person participation in the home office is required on a weekly basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field
- AICP or NAEP CEP certification
- Proven experience managing environmental review and permitting services for Water Resources, Wastewater, or other Water Business Group-related projects in the Pacific Northwest
- Ability to grow into a supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years of related experience
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software
- Ability to interact with various design teams; excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal)

Compensation varies by skills, experience, education, and location. Example ranges for full-time roles (subject to adjustment):
Seattle/Bellevue/Everett: $149,940 – $214,200;
Olympia: $124,950 – $178,500;
Gig Harbor: $137,445 – $196,350.
