Overview
Allied Resources is seeking a Regional Estimating Manager to lead estimating efforts across major projects in the Northeast region. This is a remote position requiring residency in PA, NJ, or New England
, with occasional regional travel for client meetings or site visits. The role offers a competitive salary (up to $225K based on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, PTO, 401k with company match, bonuses, and more.
- Develop accurate conceptual and schematic cost estimates for engineering and construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients to align estimates with project scope and financial targets.
- Coordinate and manage discipline-specific estimators to produce detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, and other components.
- Present cost models and estimates to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Conduct risk analyses and maintain historical cost data for benchmarking.
- Support preconstruction efforts and assist in converting opportunities into active projects.
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to regional estimating standards and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 10–15 years of multi-discipline estimating experience
, preferably in life sciences or food & beverage. - Strong background in conceptual estimating and collaboration with design teams.
- Familiarity with design-build and integrated project delivery methods.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage, Timberline, Win Est, or similar).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
- Experience with cleanroom environments, R&D labs, or large-scale manufacturing projects ($100M+).
- Knowledge of Revit, ACC, Trimbull, and Monte Carlo simulation tools.
- Project management experience with temporary teams.
- Strong contractor network and industry connections.
