You are supporting design document production for a wide range of projects from complex roadways and streetscapes in urban settings to signature trail projects in the natural environment. You will assist the firm s designers to apply industry best practices to produce a wide variety of CADD-based deliverables, from concept to detailed final design plans for construction. You will support our multi-disciplined team to prepare quality, graphically consistent, and technically accurate deliverables.

Working with our CADD team, you will advance your skills, assist with training staff in the efficient use of CADD programs and tools, assist in enhancing our CADD tools, troubleshoot issues, and support local technical staff. You may serve on CADD-related company committees to set policies and update standards. Toole Design currently operates multiple CADD and civil engineering design software platforms, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, Open Roads Designer, and Bluebeam.

We are targeting a salary range of $67,000 to $85,000 for this position. Please reach out to HR at the Boston office to help determine where you would fall in this range, as we value transparency.

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2 up to days per week. Our Boston office is conveniently located in Boston s Downtown Crossing, directly adjacent to the iconic Boston Common, within a short walk to all of the major rapid transit lines and close to both North Station and South Station commuter rail lines.

Applicants should be willing to travel within New England to support public engagement activities. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit (Downtown Crossing, Park Station, South Station, SL4, SL5, and several buses including routes 43,7, 11).
