RxPact has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer. Position

Summary

The Senior Data Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes the organization s core data pipelines and integrations, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality data delivery across systems. This role drives technical execution, strengthens data architecture, and supports key business and client needs through robust engineering practices. As a senior contributor, the position also influences technical standards and helps advance the team s overall engineering maturity.

Essential

Functions
  • Configure and manage technical implementations.
  • Support monthly client intake and partner submission routines.
  • Utilize Amazon Web Services to implement and manage technical solutions.
  • Perform all phases of development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Produce clean, high-quality, maintainable, and testable code aligned with engineering standards.
  • Contribute to system architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Support software and hardware maintenance, upgrades, and integrations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple systems and environments.
  • Create, review, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the platform and tech stack.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational needs.
Required Expertise
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines
  • Strong proficiency in SQL
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and agile team environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to adapt to ambiguity, learn quickly, and innovate
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Experience with Flyway
  • Software development experience in:
    Python, Java and/or C#
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Experience working with Docker or other containerization technologies.
  • Experience applying Machine learning solutions
