This is an on-site role at our Baton Rouge, LA site location, but we are hiring nationwide to find the best candidates.

Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr. Salary is determined by experience, skills and location.

• Design Wireless systems in iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner, and other modeling programs.
• Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages.
• Coordinate with AHJ’s, Radio System Owners, Carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Create and modify DIV 27 specifications.
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead projects, ensuring completion on time.

• Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years’ experience designing wireless telecommunications systems (LMR, Site Radio, RoIP, Public Safety DAS, Commercial DAS, OTA DAS, Neutral Host DAS, DRAN DAS).
• At least 5 years’ experience with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner, or equivalent modeling programs.
• Experience working with clients to identify wireless communications needs.
• Experience troubleshooting wireless system issues from field teams.
• Knowledge of Noise Floor, SNIR, Return Loss, VSWR, and network optimization.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, NFPA 1225, IFC section 510, Carrier KPIs, IBC, FCC Part 20 and 90, FCC OET Bulletin 65, MOTOTRBO systems, Motorola R56 installation standards, DMR Tier III.
• Familiarity with Navisworks.
• Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
• Experience responding to RFPs.
• iBwave Level 2 Certification required.

• Experience designing Wi‑Fi systems.
• EDX or Motorola design certifications.
• FCC GROL certification.
• NICET Design certification.
• Multiple OEM product certifications.
• Electrical or Communications Engineering degree; EIT or PE.
