What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Define and maintain an accurate electrical system ontology for data centers, reflecting real-world infrastructure and dependencies
  • Analyze telemetry from sensors and smart meters to identify early indicators of equipment degradation
  • Design automated detection and alerting logic to ensure actionable operational conditions are communicated effectively
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to translate insights into actionable guidance for improved reliability
  • Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and evaluate product performance during customer incidents
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating or monitoring electrical power systems in data center environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of data center electrical systems, including power quality and redundancy architectures
  • Proven ability to identify patterns in data center operations and contribute to scalable solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex electrical system behaviors to technical and non-technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting electrical distribution systems in data center environments
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA, BMS, or energy monitoring systems
  • Background in designing rules-based detection logic for electrical faults
  • Knowledge of machine learning applications for fault detection and predictive insights
  • Experience with time-series analysis and signal processing for operational performance
