Senior Estimator Nuclear

FTS Houston is seeking a Sr. Estimator for multiple Nuclear projects across the US.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine accurate installation quantities and scope.
• Develop comprehensive estimates for large, complex, and multidisciplinary projects.
• Review owner plans and specifications to fully understand project requirements and develop practical construction approaches to support accurate estimating.
• Review tender documents, contracts, and legal inputs in collaboration with the home office and legal team.
• Work closely with planning, scheduling, procurement, and proposal teams to ensure well-coordinated and competitive submissions.
• Prepare and present estimates to senior management and external clients with clarity and confidence.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating team, sharing best practices and lessons learned.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in nuclear estimating.
• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating major construction projects.
• Experience in the nuclear industry is a must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to present, explain, and defend estimates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required to project sites or client meetings.
