Overview
Employer Industry: Engineering Consulting
What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Conduct power system studies using ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD, including report preparation and relay settings
- Develop project proposals, defining work scopes, deliverables, schedules, and budgets
- Manage project execution, ensuring milestones are met and providing updates to clients and team members
- Mentor and support the growth of less-experienced staff
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
- Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, laws, and regulations
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within one year
- Experience with AutoCAD and basic Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word
- 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering, electric utility, or industrial sectors
- Background in PLC and HMI programming and commissioning
- Experience with electrical installations in hazardous areas
