Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a WSTF Groundwater Modeler & Statistical Analyst (3751).
This is a short-term remote position with possible travel to the site.

RoleSummary
Responsible for quantitative analysis supporting monitoring network optimization and plume stability evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct statistical analyses including Mann‑Kendall trends, time‑series analysis, PCA, and geostatistics (variography/kriging)
- Apply groundwater flow and transport models (e.g., MODFLOW)
- Evaluate plume behavior, aquifer sustainability, and monitoring efficiency
- Support development of optimized sampling schedules and well networks
- Degree in Hydrology, Environmental Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
- Proficiency in groundwater modeling and statistical evaluation tools
- Experience supporting regulatory decisions with quantitative analysis
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
