Systems Engineer
Job Summary
The candidate will work in Prof Jonathon Schofield's Bionic Engineering and Assistive Robotics (BEAR) Lab. The candidate's essential responsibilities include: the development and prototyping of experimental setups and data collection systems as engineering and management support for on-going research. Under the direction of the PI, the candidate will be responsible for project management, prototype fabrication, and possible bench-top testing of experimental systems and robotic/prosthetic hardware.
Activities will include aspects of project management, mechanical design and fabrication, hardware and software systems integrations, 3D modelling, 3D printing, among other engineering activities necessary to support the on-going experiments in the lab.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- No Minimum Work Experience required.
- Confidentiality in record keeping.
- Must have excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be comfortable adapting to working with new teams from diverse cultural backgrounds, work environments, various disciplines, and with different levels of expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in with solid modelling and 3D printing.
- Must be adaptive to change in programmatic direction and priorities
