Job Details

As a Wireless Systems Engineer, you will be part of the team developing and implementing algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between Terrestrial Bluetooth® devices and satellites. You will be involved in all aspects of the modeling, system design and implementation of wireless communication and work with cross-functional groups of hardware–software engineers.

This is a full-time position with preference to be based in Seattle, WA (Relocation Assistance Available) but open to a remote work option for senior/more experienced candidates.

Basic Qualifications
  • 2 years of directly relevant experience
  • Bachelor s Degree (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of communication theory & signal processing-related algorithm design (e.g., channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction)
  • Knowledge of wireless protocols (5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay, Bluetooth/BLE)
  • Experience in developing signal processing and wireless systems (FSK/OFDM/MIMO) with lab testing
  • Experience with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development
  • Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development and emulation
  • Experience on bring-up of real systems in silicon/FPGA/SoC and use of lab test equipment
  • Ability to work independently and learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when highly critical events dictate
  • Passion for creating state-of-the-art software systems
Strongly Desired
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with multi-radio coexistence management
  • Experience in modem architecture, microprocessor architecture, hardware and software control
  • Experience in low-power algorithm design for power-critical applications
