This remote position offers the opportunity to impact both technological advancement and operational safety in chemical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document comprehensive safety procedures for workers operating chemical equipment or conducting reactions, ensuring robust adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and provide expert guidance on resolving challenges in chemical manufacturing processes by training AI models with practical scenarios.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret experimental and process data to refine AI understanding and outputs.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements for chemical equipment and processes to optimize performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Design, plan, and review equipment layouts for efficiency, safety, and scalability, incorporating feedback into AI training datasets.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication between human experts and AI systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement processes by identifying gaps in AI knowledge and providing targeted training materials.

    Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong foundation in chemical process engineering, including safety standards and data analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing chemical manufacturing systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing or applying safety protocols in chemical environments.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative setting using digital communication tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in AI model training, machine learning, or related data-driven initiatives.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in chemical manufacturing (e.g., OSHA, EPA, REACH).
  • Experience participating in cross-functional teams focused on safety and process optimization.
