What Your Job Will Be LikeAre you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role that makes a real impact? Our dynamic team is looking for a passionate Electromechanical Technologist to join us in operating system‑level testers and electrical equipment. This is your chance to be part of the exciting W80‑4 functional electrical testing weapon development and qualification efforts!
In this pivotal role, you will not only support the calibration of W80‑4 testers but also play a key part in upgrading W87‑1 Testers, developing W93 Testers, and contributing to future National Defense (ND) programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to make significant contributions to Sandia, working on multiple high‑visibility ND initiatives that are crucial to our mission.
On Any Given Day, You May Be Called On To- Operate testers and electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with Tester Engineers and Testing Engineers.
- Fabricate, modify, or assemble tester and cable components.
- Apply your fabrication skills to enhance testing processes and equipment.
- Assist in the calibration and troubleshooting of testers.
- Prioritize safety and attention to detail in all tasks.

Location & TravelDue to the nature of the work, the selected applicant will be required to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM. Some travel may be required for this position.
Salary Range$74,700 - $144,400
* Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
