Position Overview

The position will be mostly remote but may require reporting to the TEC building in London, located at 1580 State Route 56 SW, London, OH 43140, as needed.

About ODRC

ODRC is seeking a well-rounded network engineer with expertise in Cisco Meraki-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expertise in Cisco Meraki technologies, including Meraki RSTP, switch setup, and integration with Catalyst.

Work with networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, TCP/IP, and MPLS.

Lead the design and architecture of Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions tailored to security and business needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective firewall configurations.

Implement industry best practices for deploying NGFW solutions, ensuring security, availability, and performance.

Review and update firewall policies to mitigate emerging threats.

Design, configure, and maintain IPSEC VPN tunnels for secure communications with remote offices, partners, and cloud environments.

Troubleshoot VPN connectivity and performance issues.

Implement Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) for network segmentation.

Configure and manage BGP for scalable routing within the network.

Collaborate with IT, security analysts, and stakeholders to integrate NGFW solutions seamlessly.

Experience: Over 10 years of relevant experience

Key Skills and Technologies

Experience with MS350-48FP, MS120-8FP, MS425-16, MS425-32 switches
Knowledge of FTD Firewalls (e.g., ASA
5525-x, Firepower 2130, Threat Defense series)
Experience managing Cisco Meraki switches is a plus
Familiarity with Cisco Firepower, Cisco Meraki fiber and access switches, Cisco routers, VPN configurations, Aruba wireless technologies, and cloud proxy solutions

Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
