Job Summary:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Project Manager
to oversee multiple concurrent product development projects within our aerospace-focused organization. This role is critical in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of elastomeric product solutions that meet quality and performance standards.
- Project Coordination
- Manage and prioritize6–8 active projects
simultaneously. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including
Design Engineering, Test, Mold Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality
. - Ensure alignment of project goals with company objectives and customer requirements.
- Manage and prioritize6–8 active projects
- Schedule & Issue Tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to‑date
Gantt charts
for all active projects. - Support Engineering to track and manage each project’s
Open Issues Log
, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. - Facilitate regular
project status meetings
, to help drive progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to‑date
- Work with
Purchasing
to monitor
open purchase orders
and supplier delivery status. - Escalate delays or risks to ensure continuity in project timelines.
- Communication & Reporting
- Provide clear and consistent updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Create and distribute project documentation, timelines, issue logs, and meeting notes.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in
aerospace or manufacturing
. - Familiarity with custom or engineered components is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in
project management tools
(e.g., MS Project and Excel). - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Skills:
- Experience working in a
team‑based product development environment
. - Understanding of
aerospace industry standards
and supplier management. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.
- This role is primarily office-based with a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with on‑site presence at operating locations as needed.
- The work environment includes interaction with manufacturing and warehouse settings during site visits.
- Therole may require navigating production floors,observing operational processes, and engaging with cross‑functional teams in active manufacturing environments.
- Standard office equipment and technology will be used in the performance of thisroleincluding computer equipment, servers, and end‑user devices.
