Key Responsibilities:
- Wastewater Treatment Design & Engineering: Lead the design of wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewer systems, and pump stations, ensuring compliance with EPA standards and local regulations.

Spearhead the design of a wastewater treatment facility optimizing processes for compliance, efficiency, and sustainability.

- Hydraulic Modeling & Analysis: Develop and calibrate hydraulic models for wastewater systems using tools like EPANET, Water
CAD, and GIS.- Example:
Manage hydraulic modeling for a sanitary sewer system to ensure optimal wastewater flow and stormwater management.

- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work with project managers, environmental engineers, and construction teams to deliver innovative water infrastructure solutions.

Coordinate with environmental engineers to integrate sustainable practices into stormwater management projects.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in wastewater treatment design, sewer transport systems, hydraulic modeling, and pump station design.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland required, or ability to obtain licensure within the first year.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPANET, Water
CAD, GIS, and other hydraulic modeling software. - Leadership &
Collaboration:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
